Yesterday was September 1st. Thank goodness the winter chill is almost over. I walked out into the Sparrow courtyard for my first piano lesson of the day, and within 2 minutes I was dunked with at least 12 gallons - courtesy of buckets, water bottles and a hose - of cold water! In celebration of the first day of South African Spring, apparently the custom is to have the world's biggest water fight. It was awesome. :-)
