Miracle.
We received the official news yesterday:
Next month we will celebrate our first ever Child Haven adoption.
Once the school year ends in December, this beautiful 10 year-old girl will be leaving behind our precious Child Haven family to join her very own, beloved new family.
The news came with much joy and a measure of sadness - for Child Haven is truly a family. It will not be easy for any of us to say goodbye to a daughter, a niece and a sister. But A. is so joyful and excited. Her life is about to change forever. She will have her own mother and her own father, individual attention and extra love, two new siblings, and a brighter future than we've ever dreamed for her.
All we can say is 'Praise God!' May He bless her and guide her every step of her way. Amen.

Amen! I can't even begin to imagine A's excitement. It's got me thinking about the wonder of our adoption by God through Christ. What beautiful news, and what a gorgeous little lady!!!
