It was a chilly welcome back to Johannesburg winter, with the heaters on full blast and scarves wrapped around cold noses. But, my, what a thrill of life and energy I feel being back in this city!
A new adventure has begun as I settle into full-time ministry at Sparrow Village. My goal is two-fold: to continue to give children hope and a voice through music, and to provide mentorship and discipleship to the often neglected Sparrow teenagers.
Task #1 - Begin learning approximately 250 names. Nkhlankhlan, Kelebhongile, Thembinkosi, Ntokozo...
Though cold and slightly overwhelming, life at Sparrow is a beautiful thing. Welcome to the new Joburg journey.
