Sparrow Village really is a miracle. Here's just one amazing story about how it came to be:
Reverend Corine, Sparrow's founder, had a dream that she owned a big community for people with HIV/AIDS. In her dream, she saw the buildings as big domes with a hole at the top of each dome.
When Sparrow finally came to be, she had it constructed exactly the way that she saw it in her dream.
Later, when a medical missions team arrived for a visit, a doctor asked her where she got the idea for such strange architecture. When she described the dream, he was amazed. "This is EXACTLY the type of building that people with HIV need! The dome forces the air upwards, taking any unclean air and TB germs up to the top and out of the central hole."
Jesus dreams and architecture. Miracles all over. :-)
